Anacostia River Area Cleanup Hosted by ASEZ WAO
On November 8, 50 members from ASEZ WAO continued their Reduce Plastic campaign in Washington, DC. The group partnered with Anacostia Riverkeeper in Kenilworth Park for the Anacostia River cleanup.

On November 8, 50 members from ASEZ WAO continued their Reduce Plastic campaign in Washington, DC. The group partnered with Anacostia Riverkeeper in Kenilworth Park for the Anacostia River cleanup.
On June 13, 50 ASEZ WAO volunteers came together for their Rock Creek Park cleanup in the heart of the nation’s capital. The cleanup was in line with ASEZ WAO’s
University students and volunteers from the club ASEZ kicked off Mother’s Street Project at H street in an effort to clean up the streets of DC.
Families celebrated Father’s Day 2017 a little differently, taking the time out of their morning to clean up litter and debris from Kenilworth Park.
Church volunteers assisted the government with the 2017 Presidential Inauguration by ensuring the comfort and well-being of pedestrians during the event.
The Church of God in Washington, D.C. hosted police appreciation dinners in the Second and Sixth District Metropolitan Police Departments to serve those who serve.
Church of God volunteers take care of the world God has given to all creation by organizing cleanups and plantings. In addition to protecting the environment though these activities, they also raise awareness and educate the community about current environmental issues through forums and tabling events.
One way to share love is to donate blood. The Church of God hosts these life-saving events to better equip blood banks and hospitals to save patients in desperate need of blood transfusions. With just one donation, you can save up to three lives!
No one knows when or in what form disaster will strike. However, many Church of God volunteers have been trained in emergency preparedness. Volunteers do their best to assist the community when help is needed most.
Sometimes, a smile is all you need to brighten up your day. Through various social welfare events and activities that support the community at large, volunteers hope to inspire a sense of joy and love.
The World Mission Society Church of God partners with local and national government offices and officials to further the work done in communities where the Church of God is located.
