Heavenly Jerusalem, Our Mother
The World Mission Society Church of God believes in God the Mother. Even the Disciples who followed Jesus Christ in the Early Church testified about Jerusalem God the Mother (Gal 4:26). However, if modern day Christians were asked to show this biblical fact, most would be unable due to lack of knowledge (Hos 4:6).
To those longing for eternal life, God has made the divine nature of the invisible creator, clear throughout all creation.
“They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them … Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”
As the creation shows that living beings are conceived by their mothers, so eternal life should be given to spiritual beings through an eternal God the Mother.
The creation story in Genesis 1:26–27 also clearly testifies to the plural image of God who is both male and female. Looking at the creation of Adam and Eve, we should realize God’s will that spiritual life should be given through Spiritual Adam (Rom 5:14) and Spiritual Eve (Rev 19:7) who is Jerusalem God our Mother (Rev 21:9–10).
