Q: What is the New Covenant and Why Should I Keep It?
Two thousand years ago, over a period of three years, Jesus Christ preached the gospel and established the New Covenant—the new ways to keep the laws of God such as the Sabbath (Lk 4:16) and the seven feasts in three times. However, shortly after ascending to Heaven, Jesus’ teachings began to be changed.
Just as Apostle Paul described, people changed Christ’s teachings, laws and commands (Acts 20:29–30). The Bible also described these events in the Old Testament.
With these changes, the New Covenant Jesus established for our salvation and blessings vanished. And for thousands of years, Churches have kept their own regulations, instead of the New Covenant regulations Jesus established.
